Concrete Grinding Concepts is a Tier 1 concrete flooring specialist focused on high-speed, large-scale industrial and commercial projects where program certainty and quality cannot be compromised.
Recently we have found ourselves pushing into the tier one sector of the construction industry as we have outgrown the domestic and lower tiers of construction levels within the building and construction industry.
We have machinery and labour capabilities to service project sizes ranging 100sqm to 20000sqm and have not since seen the limits to what size projects we can’t do, We have ride-on concrete grinding equipment enabling us to cut time down on large project programs and efficient ITP’s ensuring quality of workmanship is never in doubt.

Concrete Grinding Concepts inspires confidence in all its clients through the CGC team’s expert knowledge in all things concrete. CGC are the first with a creative concrete solution to any number of problems in construction and building. What our clients discover is that they can be far more creative with concrete than they realised, while still reaping the benefits of durability and low maintenance for which concrete is renowned.
Our business has grown rapidly in ten years. Our success has been built on a reputation across the building and construction industry for consummate skill in the full suite of concreting services.
CGC’s work covers large commercial and retail floors right through to smaller office and residential jobs. No matter what kind of project we undertake, we always complete on schedule, ensuring we are well coordinated with other elements of large projects. We also using machinery that dramatically reduces the harmful dusts and vapours.
WHAT WE DO
Our talented team includes specialists in all things concrete. To ensure quality and accountability, we complete all our work in-house. We won’t use contractors and if you’re not completely satisfied there’s only one number you’ll need to call. Concrete Grinding Concepts follows strict policies regrading Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental and Quality Systems.
The CGC team ensure compliance with all current regulations, performing risk assessments.
Grind and Seals
Grind and Seal is a system by which the concrete is ground for exposure and to remove as many scratches as possible and then *grouted to fill minor cracks and surface imperfections. A clear topical sealer is used to give the concrete its protection, wearing surface and shine.
Epoxy Coating
Epoxy Floor Coating makes for a fantastic protective floor finish. They are made from a two pack epoxy resin that sets into a hard, smooth finish that is resistant to chemicals, solvents and staining.
Acid Etched Polish
Acid Etched concrete is achieved by grinding the concrete to full exposure, then applying an acid mix which “etches” the fine concrete around the aggregate, leaving a non-abrasive, smooth non-slip finish that is suitable for kids and feels great underfoot unlike traditional exposed aggregate concrete.

Concrete Resurfacing
Has your property’s concrete flooring aged prematurely from exposure to the elements or years of overuse? After accumulating dust, dirt, and scuff marks in the years since being originally laid concrete floors can be unsightly and detract from the attractiveness of your home or workspace.
Polished Concrete
Polished concrete is a multi-step process where a concrete floor is mechanically ground, honed and polished with bonded abrasives in order to cut a concrete floor’s surface. It is then refined with each cut in order to achieve a specified level of appearance.

Quotation will remain valid for acceptance for 30 days from date of issue and will lapse unless a written notice of acceptance is received within that time. Upon acceptance, this offer will remain valid for 90 days. If works do not proceed within 6 months of date of acceptance, the offer will be reviewed. If any part of job is put on hold or works are delayed, Concrete Grinding Concepts reserves the right to review pricing for the job, and to recover any costs that are caused by the delay.
PAYMENT
Concrete Grinding Concepts require payment for works to be made on the 15th day of the month following the one in which the invoice is dated.
ALLOWANCES
No allowance has been made for removal of existing works on site, clearing of vegetation, or removal of rubbish.
No allowance is included for site preparation including clearance of building material, soil, concrete, and other matter required to be removed prior to commencement of works.
ADDITIONAL CHARGES
Additional charges will apply for delivery delays incurred by Concrete Grinding Concepts at the unloading site, or where the delivery is unable to be affected due to any reason whatsoever.
PURCHASE ORDER
A signed Purchase Order will be provided to Concrete Grinding Concepts before the commencement of any work. If any part of these Terms and Conditions are found to be contrary to any law of the State of Victoria or the Commonwealth of Australia then only that part of these Terms and Conditions shall fail, and the balance of these Terms and Conditions shall remain in force.
SAFE ACCESS
Safe Access to site must be available prior to commencement of works and for the duration of works for Concrete Grinding Concepts, including access for vehicles, equipment, and all labour required to undertake the agreed scope of works. Delays in providing safe access to site will be charged to the client.
AMMENITIES & APPROVALS
All amenities including toilets, site sheds, lunch rooms, to be supplied by the Client.
All Approvals, Permits and Inspections required by Statutory Authorities are the responsibility of the Client. Unless otherwise provided in this quotation, the owners shall obtain any necessary permits and supply a copy of the permit and conditions to Concrete Grinding Concepts.
TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT
Responsibility of the preparation and implementation of Traffic Management Plan if required is the responsibility of the Client.
ELECTRICITY & WATER
The client shall supply electricity and water at all times during construction. In the event that power and water are not supplied for any reason, any extra cost incurred including generator hire, cartage, loss of time or additional labour shall be charged to the Client.
STORAGE
Safe storage for materials must be provided at all times.
DAMAGES
Concrete Grinding Concepts warrants all works from completion date for one year. This warranty is subject to full payment being received within the agreed payment terms for the completed works. Concrete Grinding Concepts do not accept any responsibility for liquidated damages. A Variation Order will be provided by the client to Concrete Grinding Concepts before the commencement of any additional works, changes to scope of work, or incurring of additional costs.
COMPANY INSURANCE
Prior to starting job you will be handed a Disclosure, Acknowledgement & Acceptance Form (DAA Form) which you will be run through via a representative of CGC. It will contain vital information for your job as well as payment terms.
